Square Planet is an independent performing arts agency based in Helsinki, Finland, producing and touring theatre, dance, contemporary circus and other live performance internationally.
The agency was founded by producer Hongjia Qi, who has been working across borders since 2012. Alongside producing tours and international collaborations, he served as the producer and curator of the Finnish Ministry of Culture–supported programme From Start to Finnish (2014–2023), helping introduce Finnish performing arts to presenters and festivals worldwide.
Hongjia works closely with artists, theatres and festivals to develop new collaborations and bring distinctive Nordic performances to audiences around the world.
